We just started rehearsals for a major gig in 2023. Its great to be back rehearsing old material as well as looking at new material. We are also looking at expanding the sonic range of what we are doing and adding in new instruments.
There is a real joy in playing with a band and Dave Bowie Jnr used to sit in with The Small Change Diaries a few years ago. Now he has more time out form playing with The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, he’s available for live appearances on a more regular basis. Next Year we will also be inviting Laurent Zeller master violinist from France over to play with the band. Laurent of course is also a brilliant musician and played extensively on our second album “Lullabies for Cynics”.
A lot has happened in the last few years including writing a ton of new material during covid and some of these songs that have never been played live will be showcased for the very first time. As always the emphasis is on great harmonies, memorable melodies and great lyrics.
