Today we filmed the office scene for Birdman with Kier and some great extras. There are a number of really intricate scenes to shoot that needed to tie in perfectly with the video. It’s fascinating to see Jay the film director figure out camera angles and how to get the very best footage. In forthcoming weeks we will return to filming in the city and then the final scene with the full band in the record store.
This continues to be a fascinating process and a great team effort. I have been involved in filming shoots before but nothing with this degree of sophistication. Its also very different to be working with an experienced film producer who has trained in the field to a very high standard and who has a great eye for detail.
