Hanging out in Manhattan and back where it started

Today I had the absolute joy of returning to Matt Umanov Guitars in NY and meeting back up with Zeke who sold me my first ukulele and “put me on the path” that initiated what has become “The Small Change Diaries” I also purchased an amazing new ukulele made by James Triggs that sounds and plays fantastic! This ukulele is definately going to be used in the studio on future SCD tracks, it has a very distinctive sound and is very different to all my other instruments in my growing uke family! This uke was patterned after the rare Gibson tenor ukes of the 1930’s. Mahogany back, sides, and neck, and very finely-grained spruce top.
